⥤⥤ Adios Nueva York ⥢⥢

For the next couple of weeks I'm going to live on the road. We'll be going from Portland to Arizona, living in a tent, reading books, eating from the grill, diners, taco trucks, fruits, listening to music, taking pictures, enjoying my lover's company, living in nature, breathing freedom. Still haven't decided yet what to bring for sure, my cowboy boots or dr martens? Don't want to think about that yet! And of course, see what treasures I can find along the way for the lil' shop.

 SHE HAS WAITED TOO LONG
I've always loved the idea of having two contrasting elements together, it kind of makes the perfect balance. In this case a gorgeous one. This shoot started sparking some ideas for halloween. Start getting ready and please don't buy a costume, build it.

Δ▼Δ El hombre en fuego Δ▼Δ

Today is that day of the year where "Burning Man" commences. It's an event/experience where you create your own reality. No one is a spectator, everybody builds their world.  And once you create it, it will stick with you forever. I've been wanting to go to this event and have never found the time or money to do it. This year I planned too late. And besides, it's not cheap; it's about $390 per person + camping + food + whatever you do there for 8 days.

So yes, looks like you have to work hard to go there. People say Burning Man is not the same thing it was a few years ago; that it has become more mainstream. I also heard that they will stop doing it soon because the word has spread out. I don't know how true this can be, but what I know is that I'm looking forward for next year.

"The Burning Man project has grown from a small group of people gathering spontaneously to a community of over 48,000 people. It is impossible to truly understand the event as it is now without understanding how it has evolved. Trying to explain what Burning Man is to someone who has never been to the event is a bit like trying to explain what a particular color looks like to someone who is blind. To truly understand this event, one must participate."

Check out the video I'm sharing here. It speaks by itself. And if you couldn't make it, experience it remotely here:http://laughingsquid.com/how-to-experience-burning-man-2012-remotely/
